PPC Management and Online Advertising Trends for 2014
This is an infographic by SCORE, a great resource for small business owners. This graphic shows how the trends of online advertising are moving largely from traditional PPC and display advertising (banner ads) to social media advertising and more “in-stream” vehicles. I believe some of the numbers in this graphic are skewed slightly to favor these newer vehicles. However what this does show is that– regardless of how good Google is getting at targeting their ads, people are less impervious to disruptive style ads and trust brand messages that seem less salesy and more well…trustworthy. This is another reason why SEO is more important than ever before.
